Some people think it’s a sign of mental decline. Others just think it’s annoying:

Talking to yourself.

It seems that the habit is frowned upon by most. People that are “stuck” with it are reticent about admitting that they do it.

Me, I know that if I do it around others, I feel self-conscious.

But have we ever really reasoned out why this habit is something to do without?

Wouldn’t something that comes so naturally to people be worth a second look?
